Ingushetia Tries to Ban TV Station Over Critical Reporting

The Parliament of the Russian Republic of Ingushetia has demanded that REN-TV, a private television channel, be blocked from the region for inflammatory reporting. Sergei Mironov, the speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, regretted that the Government did not have the authority to do so.
