Human Rights Activist Kidnapped and Beaten in Ingushetia

Zurab Tsechoev, a human rights advocate working in Ingushetia, was kidnapped Friday by a squad of camouflaged law enforcement officers. After a harrowing interrogation and beating, he was thrown from an automobile to the side of the highway.
