Russian Agency Demands Registration for all Wi-Fi Devices

The Russian agency responsible for regulating media and communications wants to require mandatory registration from every wireless-enabled device. According to the agency, operators of notebook computers, PDAs, and Wi-Fi hotspots must register their devices, or risk having them confiscated.
